Chemours is seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to join our growing Capital Organization. This position will be available at our Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC and reporting directly to the Capital Execution & Center of Excellence (COE) Leader The role leads and empowers a high-performing, multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class capital projects across our sites in North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. The Regional Capital Manager works closely with the plant staff at multiple sites, the Capital Portfolio Manager, and key functions in the Capital Organization. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: + Champion a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement as you coach and develop project managers and engineers. Oversee the execution of full capital portfoliou2014including planning, forecasting, design, procurement, quality, contracting, project safety, turnaround support, and infrastructure maintenanceu2014ensuring every project is executed on time, within budget, and in line with Chemoursu2019 rigorous safety and environmental standards. + Collaborate with Capital Portfolio Manager and other Regional Capital Managers to prioritize and align on a consolidated capital project portfolio for the company. + Align regional engineering capabilities with business strategies and ensure governance to Capital Organization guidelines and best practices for effective and efficient project delivery. + Work with Procurement and Capital Excellence Team to ensure the right procurement strategy is in place for all capital projects + Contract administration of site-based design contractors and external engineering providers. + Monitor and deliver against KPIs for project planning and execution. + Provide engineering assistance to regional operations to maintain safe and reliable plants, including support for MOC, MIQA, and infrastructure. (non-capital work) The following is _required_ for this role: + Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred). + At least 5 years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing capital projects + Experience with people management + Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in a dynamic environment + Exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skills + Solid understanding of plant operations, capital project execution, and maintenance excellence. Proven track record of building strong teams, delivering results, driving continuous improvement, and applying engineering best practices + Willing and able to travel to manufacturing sites within North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland as needed The following is _preferred_ for this role: + Experience working with design contractors and external engineering providers. + Exposure to highly toxic materials and chemical manufacturing operations. + Strong background in procurement and contract management (T&M and Lump Sum). + Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
