Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities: u00b7 Operate CNC manual saw efficiently with minimal or no scrap, follow production schedules, shop orders and drawings per department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) u00b7 Review and understand drawings, routings, material and work instructions prior to production preventing/reducing scrap u00b7 Transact, issue, prepare and deliver completed product per department Standard Operating Procedures u00b7 Complete all transactions efficiently and correctly u00b7 Safely and efficiently move material and equipment with the use of overhead cranes or forklifts u00b7 Recommend and complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for process improvements u00b7 Complete 5S initiatives, keeping the department organized and cleaned daily u00b7 It is essential that this position is performed at the facility. Requirements: u00b7 Experience using manufacturing equipment u00b7 Experience operating a forklift u00b7 Must be self-managed with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues u00b7 Work flexible or overtime hours to meet production schedules u00b7 Safely and efficiently use overhead cranes and forklift to perform daily job functions u00b7 Mechanically inclined with basic math skills u00b7 Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines and meeting downstream customer dates u00b7 Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail u00b7 Must be computer literate with the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook u00b7 Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
