Job Summary and Qualifications As an Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of a GI/EndoscopyNurse,you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures.What you will do in this role: Maintain a sanitary environmentfor your patientYou will demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipmentYou will preparethe endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and suppliesYou will cleanGI treatment rooms between proceduresand prepare rooms forthenext caseYou will assistin the maintenance, care and labeling of specimensYou will identifyspecimen withthesurgeon and passto the circulating RNQualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferredOne-yearacute care experience,preferably in an ambulatory surgery centerValid BCLS Certification upon employment***online certification not acceptableBenefits North Texas Float Pool, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
