Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you’ll make an impact in this role Specialized Clinical Support: Performinghazardous drug compounding, managing nuclear pharmacy tasks, and conducting detailedmedication histories.Access & Advocacy: Serving as a "financial navigator" by handlingbenefit investigations,prior authorizations, and enrolling patients in Patient Assistance Programs (PAP).Pharmacy Operations: Managing automated dispensing systems (like Pyxis or Omnicell), overseeingdrug shortage management, and handling bulk repackaging.Advanced Clinical Roles: Acting as animmunizer(where state law allows) and serving as a"Pharmacist Extender"—a modern role that offloads clinical data gathering from the Pharmacist.Revenue Cycle Management: Coding and batching charges, billing Medicaid for long-term care residents, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.And One or more of the following Required:Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
