A full-time Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students is needed for the 2026-2027 school year. This K-12 itinerant position offers the opportunity to work across the district in a supportive and collaborative educational environment. The role involves providing specialized instruction and services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing to promote their academic and social development.Responsibilities:Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the needs of DHH studentsCollaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement educational plansMonitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet evolving needsParticipate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate recordsTravel to multiple school locations within the district to serve assigned studentsQualifications:Certified Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing or equivalent credentialsExperience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearingStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to travel within the district during the school dayCommitment to fostering inclusive learning environmentsLocation:Hubert, North CarolinaThis contract position offers a stable, long-term opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students across a diverse district.
