Every day we bring our customers’ labels and packaging to life, creating a customer experience that is second to none, and enabling them to stand out over the competition. Imagine walking through stores and seeing our labels on your favorite products and brands!Shift Available: 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm (Training on 1st shift)Compensationis based on the skills and experiences brought to SmythOurfull benefits packageincludes medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and much moreKey Responsibilities forProduction Support include:Efficient support with setup, operation, and maintenance of the press, focusing on meeting specifications in product quality, safety, and effective management of material and product wastePreparing and maintaining appropriate documentation for the pressroomContributing to a team effort, collectively ensuring the press is stocked with all necessary materials and operating properly to enable focus on the art of producing the labelsObserving company work rules and safety regulationsMaintaining a clean and organized work area and pressroomThe ideal candidate for Production Support must demonstrate:Effective time management skills on multiple long- and short-term projects, meeting all related deadlinesWillingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies (tools, hardware, and software)Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalitiesHigh levels of customer service, responding promptly, clearly, concisely, and accurately to the inquires and needs of individuals, both internal and external to the organizationAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organizationEducation, Skills, and Experience:Required: High School diploma or equivalentRequired: Mechanical aptitudePreferred:Experience with measurements and calculationsA Plus: Knowledge of and/or experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems, experience in the print industry
