This role has a clear path to progress into the Accounting Manager role. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the full accounting cycle, supporting financial reporting and compliance, and partnering closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities + Own month-end close (MEC) and full-cycle accounting processes + Prepare and review financial statements and management reports + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities + Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis + Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis + Assist with audits and regulatory examinations + Support statutory reporting and NAIC filings + Work within multi-state insurance accounting requirements + Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve accounting processes Requirements Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or Business + 3-5 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience with ownership of full-cycle accounting processes + Bilingual in Spanish required + Strong experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting + Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable + Experience within Property & Casualty (P& C) insurance or other regulated environments preferred + Exposure to statutory reporting and NAIC standards a plus + Experience supporting audits and regulatory examinations + Familiarity with multi-state operations is a plus + High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability and consistency + Comfortable working in a small, close-knit, family-style organization + Proactive mindset with an interest in process improvement and automation Why This Role? + Highly visible, impactful position within a stable P& C insurance business + Opportunity to influence and modernize accounting processes + Supportive leadership with a long-term, team-oriented mindset + Competitive compensation with bonus potential Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
