Senior Benefits AdministratorThe Senior Benefits Administrator is responsible for the advanced, independent administration and ongoing management of the company’s employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, leave of absence administration, and related policies. This role exercises discretion and independent judgment in the interpretation and application of benefit plan provisions and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws.Job Will Remain Open Until FilledThe Company is one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.ResponsibilitiesManage assigned employee benefit programs including health and welfare plans, voluntary benefits, and retirement plans in alignment with plan parameters, enrollment, and regulatory requirementsProvide tier two benefits resolution and support for employeesServe as liaison between third‑party benefit vendors and employees by advising on eligibility, coverage, and benefits matters and resolving escalated issues or enrollment correctionsAudit and analyze employee benefit changes in payroll systems and with third‑party vendorsIdentify and recommend enhancements to benefits websites, content, and third‑party benefit linksAssist with coordination, facilitation, and communication of open enrollment activitiesCompile and maintain benefits records including required documentation and state or court formsTrain and mentor benefits specialists and delegate tasks as appropriateQualificationsEducation Requirements: Associate degree (or equivalent experience)Experience Requirements: 3-5 years experience in relevant fieldTravel requirement: No travel requirementsSupervisor ResponsibilityDirect Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reportsIndirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reportsRequired Knowledge and SkillsWorking knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirementsAdvanced understanding of benefit plan administration and trendsKnowledge of health and welfare and retirement benefit programsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAnalytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesProficiency with office productivity tools including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentationsExperience with human resources information systemsEnvironmental & Physical RequirementsOffice / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
