Responsibilities We are seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team in the Day Neuro setting. The position is PRN Monday-Friday during clinic hours 830-4 at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Fort Worth. The candidate will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to treat patients with neurological injuries that include stroke, brain injury, SCI, and other neurological injuries. We are seeking a candidate with strong neurological rehab skills who works well in a team setting and can provide consistent availability and coverage. + Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and deliver skilled interventions for patients in medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry and specialty units + Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and make recommendations regarding NPO status, diet levels and instrumental assessments + Document timely and accurately in the electronic medical record per hospital and regulatory standards + Completing patient/family and staff education related to communication, cognition and swallowing, as appropriate + Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives within our team Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required. + Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required. + Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required. + Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills #BSWIR- Outpatient Additional Data _Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans_ Location : Location _US-TX-Fort Worth_ Position Type _Per Diem_ Experience (Years) _1_ Category _Speech Language Pathology_ Company _Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Fort Worth Hospital_
