Accounting Manager

Description We are proactively tracking talent for a growing manufacturing organization seeking an Accounting Manager with 5u20138 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner closely with operations and leadership to support business performance and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities u2022 Oversee full cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations u2022 Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting u2022 Supervise and mentor accounting staff (AP, AR, and Staff Accountants) u2022 Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements u2022 Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures u2022 Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities u2022 Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership for decision-making u2022 Partner with operations to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and support cost initiatives u2022 Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes u2022 Maintain and improve ERP systems, processes, and reporting capabilities Requirements Requirements u2022 5u20138 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment u2022 Prior experience managing or leading a team (AP, AR, or general accounting staff) u2022 Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) u2022 Intermediate Excel skills, including: u2022 Pivot tables u2022 VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP u2022 SUMIFS u2022 Experience working within an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.) u2022 Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes u2022 Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills u2022 Ability to partner cross-functionally with finance and operations teams Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
