Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney with extensive experience in civil litigation to join our team in San Mateo, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction litigation and be capable of managing cases from inception to resolution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex legal matters within the construction industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle construction litigation cases, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic case management. u2022 Draft and file motions and briefs that effectively support client positions. u2022 Conduct comprehensive discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews. u2022 Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations. u2022 Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to construction disputes. u2022 Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop case strategies and solutions. u2022 Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to construction litigation. u2022 Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines. u2022 Work with external experts and consultants to strengthen case arguments. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on construction litigation. u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of California. u2022 Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes, including depositions and document reviews. u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in presenting arguments. u2022 Familiarity with construction laws and regulations. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues.
