Behavior Technician - $25/hr Mon-Friday

Behavior Technician u2013 Oceanside, CA Pay: $25/hour Schedule: Part-time or full-time depending on client needs Location: Oceanside, California Position Overview We are seeking a patient, reliable, and motivated Behavior Technician to provide direct support to children and adolescents with developmental or behavioral needs. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, supporting skill development, and working closely with supervising clinicians to ensure high-quality care. Key Responsibilities + Provide 1:1 behavior support in home, school, or community settings + Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by a BCBA + Collect accurate data on client behavior and skill acquisition + Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily-living skills + Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong rapport with families + Participate in team meetings and ongoing training Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred + Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in ABA is a plus + Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills + Ability to follow clinical direction and maintain consistent routines + Must pass background check and meet agency requirements + RBT certification is a bonus but not required (training may be provided) Compensation & Schedule + $25 per hour + Flexible scheduling based on client availability + Opportunities for additional hours and professional growth The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
