Machine Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and processing, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient operations and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator- Entry Level Location: Hopewell Junction, NY Pay Range: $17.00/hr Shift: First Shift - 6:00am to 2:45pm What's the Job? + Operate, maintain, and monitor automated or manual equipment to sharpen, hone, and finish knives and blades to specified standards. + Set up machinery, load and unload workpieces, and perform quality control checks to ensure sharpness and precision. + Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and production protocols to ensure a safe working environment. + Handle knives and blades, including scanning, inventory checking, and preparing items for sharpening. + Assist in cleaning and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. What's Needed? + Experience in shipping/receiving, order picking, or industrial packing is preferred but not required. + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. + Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. + Basic understanding of equipment operation and maintenance. + Willingness to work Monday through Friday during first shift hours.
