Swan St., Flr 4 City Albany State NY Zip Code 12210 Duties Description Duties Description:Under the direction of an MITS-1, SG 27, within the Public Safety - OVS Business Solutions Team, this position will design and support customer agencies applications. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Design application business tier using cloud/java technology suites.- Work with business units to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.- Provide end-to-end software solutions and engage in the planning and design within cross-functional teams.- Ensure clear and consistent communication between agency, vendor and ITS stakeholders.Technical Analyst 2 will also be the team lead for multiple assignments. Performing and documenting code peer reviews, conducting Performance Reviews and performing any other tasks assigned by the MITS-1. Minimum Qualifications Technology Analyst 1 (All Parenthetics) Five years of information technology experience, one of which must be within the appropriate specialty.- 4 -Technology Analyst 2 (All Parenthetics) Six years of information technology experience, one of which must be within the appropriate specialty.Substitutions: associateu2019s degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science or a related field substitutes for one year of general information technology experience. Candidates in a bacheloru2019s degree program with at least 15 semester credit hours in computer science or a related field can be credited with one year of general information technology experience.Bacheloru2019s degree in any field including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science or a related field substitutes for three years of general information technology experience. Any bacheloru2019s degree substitutes for two years of generalinformation technology experience. Masteru2019s degree or higher in computer science or related field substitutes for oneadditional year of general information technology experience. Specialty includes experience within one or more of the following information technology disciplines: artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, human centered design, product management, quality assurance, rapid application development, robotic product management, geospatial information services. Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
