Actalent is Hiring a Medical Assistant Must Have Phlebotomy Experience. Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in our healthcare practice. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities + Work across multiple floors and locations that see 250-300 patients daily. + Room patients and record vital signs and medical histories + Prepare patients for examinations and procedures + Assist providers during exams and treatments + Perform clinical tasks such as specimen collection, and phlebotomy (as permitted) + Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders and scope of practice + Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly prepared Essential Skills + Proven experience in patient care and medical assisting. + Strong phlebotomy skills and comfort with blood draws. + Familiarity with medical records and electronic health records (EHR). + Proficient in medical terminology and customer service. + Ability to measure and document blood pressure accurately. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
