Field Service Technician

Job Title: Field Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The role involves traveling throughout the tri-state area to perform maintenance, service, and installation on various manufacturing equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities + Safely drive a company vehicle throughout assigned service routes. + Perform routine maintenance, service, and installation on industrial garage doors, levelers, truck restraints, and high-speed doors. + Work from different height levels using scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklift baskets, and ladders up to 40 ft. + Troubleshoot levelers, locks, and doors to identify issues and implement solutions. + Run routine circuits and wire up new equipment. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of maintenance and/or field service experience. + Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. + Experience working with electrical systems up to 480v. + Clean driving record. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with hand tools such as grinders and various types of saws. + Skills in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical and preventive maintenance. + Experience in field service and equipment installation. Work Environment You will be traveling throughout the tri-state area to different manufacturing sites, ensuring a dynamic and varied work environment. A company vehicle is provided, and it is the technician's responsibility to maintain it in good condition. Maintaining professional relationships with customers is key.
