Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Performs and repairs all plant, general maintenance, carpentry, painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, refrigeration, communication; maintains all hospital related equipment both plant and clinical; completes work orders and preventive maintenance work orders. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Performs maintenance requests as assigned throughout the facility including preventive, corrective, emergency, and project types of work orders. Evaluates routine and special repair requests in order to seek opportunities for improvement. (50%) + Performs various special projects and physical plant improvements. (20%) + Performs work on all scheduled preventive maintenance. (20%) + Participates in the department QA process.
