With a reliable Monday-Friday a clean shop environment, and a clear path from contract to hire, this is where your career in aerospace takes off. Location: Auburn, WA Pay: $20-$22 Contract: Contract to Hire 3 month(s) Shift: 1st few days- Start at 7:00am Regular start time: 6:30am-3:00pm Mon-Fri Responsibilities + Assemble parts and operate machinery as instructed. + Perform metalworking tasks such as bending, punching, hand forming, deburring, or sawing. + Support team efforts towards total customer satisfaction and quality products. + Adhere to lean processes, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery. + Maintain safety standards and respect for colleagues. Essential Skills + Experience with press brake, punch press, turret, line-up, or deburr operations. + Machine operation, including loading and setup. + Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED. + Three to six months of related experience or training. + Knowledge of punching process, punch tooling, roll forming with sheet metal, blueprints, and brake forming. + Experience with hand/power tools is a plus. + Understanding of process flows, lead times, and lean principles in manufacturing. + Strong team player and reliability. + Knowledge of safe lifting techniques. Work Environment Our clean manufacturing shop works with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts for aerospace applications. The environment is heavy-duty, can be loud, but is well-organized. The regular shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with initial training starting at 7:00 am. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
