Forklift Operator Pay $22-24/Hour Shift: 7am-3:30pm Location: Tukwilla, WA Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate who can work independently to ensure orders are dispatched efficiently and promptly. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to think on their feet, perform basic math, and lift up to 75 lbs. Proficiency in operating a forklift is essential. Responsibilities + Operate a forklift to handle materials, accounting for 50% of the tasks. + Perform material handling and heavy lifting tasks, also accounting for 50% of the tasks. + Receive raw materials and ship final products. + Assist in monthly and yearly inventory counts. + Issue materials to packing and assist in crating and shipping products and parts. + Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a small team of 5-6 members. + Work independently and ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner. Essential Skills + Proficiency in forklift operation with strong driving skills in tight spaces. + Ability to perform basic math calculations. + Capacity to lift up to 75 lbs. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as a floater or replenisher in a shipping environment. + Familiarity with basic computer operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a tight warehouse environment with forklifts and trucks moving in and out. The facility is not insulated and has limited lighting. Employees will be working at bench stations with tools and parts, requiring them to lift, bend, reach, and move frequently. Personal Protective Equipment including a hard hat, glasses, and safety shoes is mandatory. The warehouse supports the manufacturing of scaffolding and wind turbine industry products. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
