Assembly Worker

Job Title: Assembler Job Description The Assembler role offers opportunities for advancement with our rapidly growing team. This is a first shift position with work hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime available on Fridays. Candidates should have at least one year of assembly or mechanical experience and must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Responsibilities + Perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools. + Read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions. + Ensure all products meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage. + Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times. + Effectively troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Essential Skills + Minimum of 1 year assembly or mechanical experience. + Proficient in using hand and power tools. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + High School Diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting. + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. Work Environment This position is on the first shift, operating from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. The work environment is clean but can become hot during the summer months, with fans provided at all workstations. The facility houses 140 employees across two shifts, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
