Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Fraser, MI 1st Shift: 7am - 5:30pm Job Description: This individual will be responsible for all maintenance and preventative maintenance on production machinery. They will work primarily with the maintenance team. Day to Day Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting and evaluation of mechanical malfunctions for repair planning - Perform a wide range of repairs to 4 axis CNC equipment including but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic. - Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical blueprints. - Experience with Fanuc controls, ladders, and parameters. - Machine geometry adjustment and or re-build to OEM specifications. - Machine dis-assembly and re-installation. - Predictive maintenance program development. - Annual asset performance evaluation. - Facility maintenance such as compressors, cranes, hyd pumps, ect. - Create work orders as needed for repair items. - Document equipment repairs for traceability and repair effectiveness - Work closely with the engineering dept. to reverse engineer components as needed. - Communicate with and utilize outside services and support as necessary to troubleshoot problems, provide project and maintenance assistance and offer technical resources. - Support, assist and train other maintenance personnel as directed by department supervisor. - Support with preventative maintenance to all equipment. - Detect and report unusual conditions to supervisor. - Support and adhere to all applicable OSHA regulations and requirements. - Maintain cleanliness of department work area and machinery. Qualifications: 1.) 3+ Years of Industrial Maintenance on 4 Axis Horizontal CNC Mill Machines (Performing Preventative Maintenance such as filters, gases, oils, belts as needed) Also able to troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and pneumatics. 2.) Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts, three phase, motors, use of multi-meters 3.) Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc controllers (HMI Interfacing to read inputs/outputs to interpret what is wrong) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fraser, MI.
