QA Lab Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a QA Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of food ingredients through rigorous testing and analysis. Responsibilities + Process incoming raw materials and samples into the QA Analytical lab. + Prepare samples for and conduct GC, density, viscosity, and pH testing on malt and food ingredients. + Enter data in LIMS, SAGE, and other computer systems. + Perform minor statistical analysis on data and generate reports. + Collaborate with the Technical Director and Lab Manager on all QA testing for raw materials and product release. + Participate in special projects and investigations to support manufacturing. + Ensure proper documentation and HACCP controls are maintained. + Maintain the lab, stock and order supplies, clean glassware, and oversee lab operations. Essential Skills + Proficiency in titration and wet chemistry. + Experience with laboratory techniques such as pipetting, pH testing, and chemical reagent preparation. + Strong documentation skills. + Experience with LIMS and QA processes. + A degree in a life science field. + At least 6 months of experience with chemistry lab techniques. + Strong multitasking and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Analytical Chemistry knowledge. + Experience in a high throughput lab environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
