Description Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role involves managing third-shift dispatch operations from Tuesday through Saturday, with the flexibility to work overtime on weekends when needed. This position is Tuesday - Saturday. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate and oversee third-shift dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication with freight carriers. u2022 Maintain detailed and accurate records through data entry for shipping and receiving processes. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. u2022 Monitor and manage logistics workflows to optimize distribution and transportation processes. u2022 Communicate with freight carriers to ensure the seamless movement of goods and resolve any logistical challenges. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules. u2022 Handle shipping and receiving documentation, verifying accuracy and compliance with company standards. u2022 Adapt to changing priorities and assist with weekend overtime as necessary to meet operational demands. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in dispatching within the logistics or transportation industry. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Familiarity with logistics and distribution processes, including shipping and receiving. u2022 Excellent customer service skills, particularly in a call center or similar environment. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with freight carriers and internal teams. u2022 Flexibility to work third shift hours and adjust to weekend overtime as needed. u2022 Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities. u2022 Proficiency in using logistics software and related systems is preferred.
