Hiring for a CAD Designer in Berlin Job Description The CAD Designer is responsible for supporting senior engineers by creating and maintaining detailed CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of experience in CAD design. + Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks. + Ability to create accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings. + Strong blueprint interpretation skills. + High attention to detail with disciplined documentation habits. + Strong communication skills and comfort working with engineers and production teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Working knowledge of GD&T. + Exposure to machining, tooling, or precision manufacturing processes. + Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks Visualize, or related tools. + Basic experience with design analysis, simulations, or feasibility studies. + Any ERP exposure, with JobBoss being a plus. Work Environment This is an onsite role located in Berlin, Connecticut, requiring close interaction with engineering, machining, and production teams. The work environment is a hands-on manufacturing setting, not limited to desk-only design tasks. The role follows a standard weekday schedule with overtime usually available.
