Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a General Production to join their team. As a General Production, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: General Production Location: Hillsboro, OR Pay Range: $23 Shift: Swing Shift (2:45 pm u2013 11:00 pm) What's the Job? + Learn and follow safety procedures such as Lock Out Tag Out, Emergency response, and PPE protocols. + Manage ink supplies and ensure proper handling during the printing process. + Operate machinery to put rolls on the unwinder and remove them from the rewinder after printing. + Perform change-over tasks efficiently to prepare for the next order. + Maintain general housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean work environment. What's Needed? + Basic computer skills for order management and documentation. + Flexibility to work various shifts, including day, swing, and graveyard shifts. + Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. + Ability to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes. + Physical ability to stand, reach, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds in an industrial environment.
