Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting attorneys in estate and trust administration by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring accurate asset valuation. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist in identifying, evaluating, and organizing assets to support estate and trust administration. u2022 Prepare detailed accounting reports for both estates and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Complete federal and state estate tax returns, including the federal estate tax return and other applicable filings. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys to interpret wills and trust agreements, ensuring proper implementation and funding of trusts. u2022 Conduct basic legal research using reference materials and various resources to support case preparation. u2022 Draft and review probate documents, ensuring they meet legal standards and guidelines. u2022 Maintain effective communication with clients and attorneys to address inquiries and provide updates on case progress. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in estate and trust administration, including asset valuation and probate processes. u2022 Proficiency in preparing estate tax returns, both federal and state. u2022 Familiarity with case management software and tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate planning documentation. u2022 Ability to perform legal research and interpret complex legal agreements. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth coordination with attorneys and clients.
