Description We are looking for a talented Associate Attorney with 1+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile plaintiff litigation cases, particularly in corporate shareholder derivative matters, with a focus on challenging leadership teams on behalf of institutional investors. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct in-depth legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents. u2022 Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategies, assess risks, and prepare for litigation. u2022 Manage discovery processes, including document reviews, preparation of discovery requests and responses, and deposition preparation. u2022 Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal settings as required. u2022 Work closely with institutional investors to support their cases against corporate leadership and boards of directors. u2022 Maintain thorough and accurate case records, correspondence, and documentation. u2022 Contribute to achieving significant outcomes in cases, with the potential for substantial bonuses tied to successful results. u2022 Uphold the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional legal services while fostering a positive, balanced work environment. u2022 Participate in firm-wide initiatives to ensure collaboration and continuous growth. u2022 Stay informed on developments in securities litigation and related fields. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Securities litigation experience required. u2022 Admission to the state bar in good standing within the applicable jurisdiction. u2022 At least one year of litigation experience, with a preference for corporate shareholder derivative litigation. u2022 Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage discovery processes and prepare for depositions. u2022 Familiarity with securities litigation and derivative cases. u2022 Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. u2022 Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
