JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Position DetailsLocation: Milwaukee, WI (Forest Home Health Center) - On-Site FTE: 1.000Standard Hours: 40 Shift: 1 Schedule: TBD. Clinic is open Monday-Friday.Job Summary: The Lead Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional whois an essential member of the patient-centered health care team. Thisindividual is responsible for assisting the manager/supervisor withdaily operations, which include staff assignments and acting as aresource for the patients, providers and support staff in the absence ofthe manager/supervisor. The Lead MA can also be responsible forassisting with new employee on-boarding and orientation as well asongoing training for all medical assistants. This individual will act asa liaison to the manager/supervisor regarding issues resolution. TheLead MA will also be expected to perform all tasks of a MA and MASenior. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 1 year of experience as medicalassistant or in the field of the credential held is required. 2 years ofexperience in designated specialty and/or other ambulatory settingpreferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: HS Diploma or GED is required.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: One of the following is required: MilitaryMedic/Corpsman training (must also obtain one of the certifications orlicenses below within 6 months of hire), Credentialed in ABR-OE(Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry), Certified MedicalAssistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NRCMA - MedicalAssistant through the National Association for Health Professionals,CCMA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Certified MedicalAssistant through the National Phlebotomy Certification Examination(NPCE), Certified Paramedic, Advanced EMT, OR Graduated from anaccredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program and current active LPNlicense. If hired as a Lead prior to 1/1/26, have 6 months to obtain oneof the certifications/licenses listed above. American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
