Job Title: Computer Support Administrator / Audio Visual Technician Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local The Opportunity: This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DOD) organization located at the Pentagon. The Computer Support Administrator / Audio Visual Technician is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, MFD's and AV equipment. Assist employees via remote access, phone, or in person. May also mentor or train other Computer Support Administrator / Audio Visual Technicians. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, Video Teleconferencing systems and network connectivity. They must be customer service-oriented, self-motivated and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources. Selected candidates may be required to provision and maintain mobile devices (NIPR, SIPR). Responsibilities: Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (desktops, laptops, VDI, VTC, servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications. Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage, VTC equipment and network connectivity. Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users. Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment. Supports new infrastructure projects. Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: u2022 Currently hold an active adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain (no waiver) u2022 Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate MCSA: Windows 10/Office 365 u2022 DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance (CompTIA Security +, Equal or greater) u2022 Self motivated u2022 Able to lift at least 50 lbs Experience with the following: u2022 CUCM u2022 Cisco TMS, Switches, Routers, Meeting Management and Meeting Server u2022 Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and networking u2022 Extron Switchers and Extenders u2022 Crestron NVX, and AMX AV systems u2022 Unimax UC Management Software Desired: u2022 ITIL v3 - Foundation u2022 Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files u2022 Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs u2022 Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards u2022 Networking knowledge: A strong understanding of networking principles is essential for managing and integrating communication systems u2022 Troubleshooting skills: The ability to analyze issues using tools like packet capture software (e.g., Wireshark) and deciphering system traces is crucial u2022 Project management: The ability to manage projects from start to finish is often needed. u2022 Clearone Certification u2022 Biamp Certification u2022 CTS Certification u2022 Able to load and pull code for Crestron and AMX - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
