Bon Secours Mercy Health - St. Rita Medical Center is looking for temporary PA Trauma-Surgery coverage!Dates of coverage:July:2nd- 7p-7a6th-7p-7a7th 7a-7p/7p-7a9th- 7p-7a18 7a-11p19th 7a-7p/7p-7a20 7a-7p/7p-7a23 7a-7p/7p-7a27 7a-7p/7p-7a31 7p-7aAugust:1 7a-7p3 7p-7a7- 7p-7a9 7p-7a11 7p-7a14 7a-7p/ 7p-7a15 7a-7p16 7a-7p/ 7p-7a17 7a-7p/ 7p-7a18 7a-7p19 7a-7p/7p-7a27 7a-7p28 7p-7a29 3p-7aJOB DETAILS:Reason for Coverage: Full time APP will be on 12 weeks of medical leavePractice Setting: Inpatient, daily rounding, new consults & admitsAverage Number of Patients Per Day: 6-12Documentation System/EMR: EpicTrauma Level/Designation: Level 2 adultAPP will not be working autonomouslySupervising Physician Present During Assignment: Trauma attending surgeon assigned to each 24 hour shift, typically take call from home, but available within 15 minutes or via phone call.Required Procedures/Functions: Suturing Minor LacerationsResponding to the ED for Trauma AlertsSurgical ConsultationsER AdmissionsFacilitating DischargesHouse Codes - Rapid Response TeamCompletion of FAST exams at the bedside, reporting off to oncoming APP, general surgery coverage 5p-7a on weekdays and for full 24 hours on weekends.Specialty Back-Up Available (If Needed) for Procedures Noted: emergency medicine, internal medicine, or critical care if needed on inpatient units. Multiple other subspecialties available.Patient Age Demographic: Treat/stabilize patients from birth to death. Approx. 5% ped, 35% adult, 60% geriatric~Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: ASAPTravel Reimbursement Information:Lodging: ~$150/nightAll other bookings approve for standard/economy rates
