Geotechnical Project ManagerWe’re actively seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex geotechnical engineering projects from concept to completion. This leadership role involves managing field investigations, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring technical excellence in all aspects of project execution. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with extensive geotechnical experience and strong project management capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee geotechnical site investigations and evaluate subsurface conditionsPlan, coordinate, and manage project schedules, staffing, and budgetsReview and deliver design documents, technical reports, and client proposalsLead teams through all phases of engineering projects while ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirementsInterface directly with clients to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure satisfactionSupervise and mentor junior staff, promoting technical growth and performance excellenceIdentify new project opportunities and assist with proposal development and client outreachQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, or related engineering field8-10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project managementPE license required; LSRP and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER preferredProficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rocscience, GSLOPE, and Microsoft OfficeStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsValid driver’s license with ability to travel (approximately 10%)Physical & Work Environment:Ability to work both in office and field settingsComfortable walking on uneven terrain in varied weather conditionsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear required PPE during fieldworkCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary: $102,000-$141,000Bonus potential, mileage reimbursement, and full benefits packagePaid time off, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and professional development supportThis is an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Manager who enjoys leading diverse projects, mentoring staff, and building lasting client relationships.
