Work Mode:OnsiteThis is a full-time position. Shifts will vary on weekdays and weekends varying between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm CST.OpportunityTheMarket Meat Supervisor is responsible foroverseeing the daily operations of the meat and seafood department, ensuring premium product quality, exceptional customer service, and compliance with food andsafety standards. This role supports theFood and Beverage Supervisorand leads a team in delivering curated, upscale experience forcustomersseekingfresh, sustainable, and specialty proteins.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESLeadership and Team SupportSupervise and support meat and seafood associatesduringdaily operationsTrain team memberson proper cutting, handling, andcustomerservice techniquesDelegate tasks and unsuretimelycompletion of prep,stocking, andsanitationdutiesCustomer Service and SalesProvide expert recommendations on cuts, cooking methods, and pairingsHandle customer orders, special requests, and seafood preparation with precisionEducate customers on sourcing, sustainability, and product originsProduct Quality and MerchandisingEnsure all meat and seafood products are fresh, properly labeled, and attractively displayedMonitor product rotation and manager shrink to minimize wasteAssistin planning and executing seasonal displays and promotionsFood Safety and ComplianceEnforce strict food safety andsanitationprotocols, including temperature logs and cleaning schedulesEnsurecompliance with local health regulations and store policiesMaintain proper storage and handling of raw and cooked productsInventory and OrderingMonitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the Food Operations ManagerAssistwith receiving deliveries and verifying product quality and accuracyTrack usage and suggest adjustments to ordering based on sales trendsCross-Department CollaborationCoordinate with deli, grocery, and prepared foods teams for cross-promotions and eventsSupport store-wide initiatives and seasonal resetsAct as MOD on as needed rotational basis and follow responsibilities and expectations as set in the MOD SOPSkills/RequirementsHighschool diploma or equivalencyrequiredMust be at least 18 years old2+ years ofexperiencein meat and/or seafoodorfood service, with1+ yearsleadership responsibilitiespreferredStrongknowledge ofmeat cuts, seafood varieties, and preparation techniquesExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to lead by example andmaintainhigh standardsAbility to read andmodifyrecipesAbility tooperateslicers, scales, and other equipment safelyAbility to use POS systems and comfortable with cash handlingServSafecertificationor equivalentrequired or obtained upon hireAbility tolift upto 50lbs and work in coldenvironments andstand for extended periods of timeFlexibleavailability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidaysApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.We believe in supporting you from the moment you join us, which is why Kohler offers day 1 benefits.
