Senior Construction Estimator

Youu2019ll provide support to the Project Managers by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, review contractoru2019s unit price estimate, prepare new cost estimates, assist in reviewing process with the contractors, perform cost analysis, and change order estimates/negotiations, document control, scheduling, and RFIu2019s. Youu2019ll be tasked with ensuring the project moves ahead to completion according to client standards by analyzing drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Bring your talent for multi-tasking and extreme organizational skills, and weu2019ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives youResponsibilities: Review of orders on contract for contract/procedural compliance Review/negotiate all orders on contract for projects within the Division of Construction - Region 5 Review and estimate construction costs for both new and rehabilitation projects Act as liaison between contractors, field personnel, client, executive staff and contract management on issues and complex matters Assist with the review of project claims when requested Develop cost estimates for project teams Shall possess, at a minimum, six (6) years of experience respectively, in cost estimating, including the cost preparation/review of architectural, mechanical, electrical systems/components of building construction projects, along with the review/negotiation of cost proposals. Bacheloru2019s degree in construction management or related field with two (2) years of construction estimating experience, OR associates degree with four (4) years of construction estimating experience Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel Experience with construction estimating software - i.e. Means CostWorks#EastPMCM #NorthPMCM #LI-SD2Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
