Accounting Clerk

Description Job Summary Our client is seeking a reliable and detailu2011oriented Accounting Clerk to support their accounting and finance operations on a contract basis. This role will handle core Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and work closely with internal teams, project managers, and external business partners. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions Perform B2B collections, including outbound calls and email followu2011ups Apply customer payments and resolve account discrepancies Communicate with project managers regarding billing, payments, and jobu2011related invoices Maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite Utilize Excel and Microsoft tools for reporting, tracking, and reconciliation Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk, AP/AR, or similar role Experience with NetSuite preferred Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Comfortable making outbound B2B collection calls Experience in plumbing distribution, construction, or projectu2011based environments is a plus Strong communication, organization, and followu2011up skills Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Working knowledge of NetSuite and familiarity with accounting principles. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to process and manage invoices efficiently. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management abilities. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies. u2022 Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
