Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring u2013 Scientist III (Downstream Process Development / MSAT) Location: Swiftwater Pay: $65 - 79.97/hr based on education and relevant experience Level Duration: 1 year Contract or Contract-to-Hire (based on business needs and performance) Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global biopharmaceutical company known for developing innovative vaccines and biologics that address critical public health needs. We are seeking a Scientist III to join the Downstream Process Development (DSP) / MSAT team. This role will support key initiatives including vaccine process improvements, yield optimization, and manufacturing support. Key Responsibilities + Execute downstream process development studies, including resin reuse, process optimization, scale-up, and yield improvement strategies. + Perform purification experiments using chromatography systems (AKTA), filtration, clarification/depth filtration, column packing, and tangential flow filtration (TFF). + Independently design and execute experiments leveraging strong knowledge of protein purification and analytical techniques. + Analyze data, interpret results, and provide technical recommendations to support project objectives. + Prepare technical reports, protocols, and summaries with clear and accurate documentation. + Support manufacturing operations through process monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. + Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety standards. + Collaborate cross-functionally with MSAT, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to drive project success. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. + 2u20136 years of relevant industry experience in downstream process development, MSAT, or bioprocessing. Core Competencies + Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. + Ability to proactively identify challenges and communicate solutions effectively. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Experience + Hands-on experience with chromatography systems and process equipment troubleshooting. + Experience with analytical assays such as SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA, BCA, SRID, and related techniques. + Familiarity with high-throughput process development tools and automation platforms. + Knowledge of GMP environments, including change controls, deviations, CAPA, and root cause analysis. + Experience with documentation practices (GDP), including SOPs, batch records, and technical reports. + Exposure to molecular modeling tools is a plus. Additional Information + This role involves hands-on laboratory work in a regulated environment. + Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting supporting biologics and vaccine development.
