Industrial Construction Project Manager

Job Title: Industrial Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced mechanical industrial project manager to oversee projects through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Responsibilities + Review job estimates and prepare detailed project budgets. + Estimate and negotiate change orders. + Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs. + Execute buyout of major equipment and subcontracts in alignment with project requirements. + Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment and materials. + Maintain a working knowledge of general conditions, scope of work, and specifications outlined in project contracts and subcontracts. + Maintain and control project documentation in compliance with standards and contractual requirements. + Supervise Project Engineers, including conducting quarterly and annual performance coaching and development discussions. + Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize, and schedule project work, including preparation of integrated subcontract and contract project schedules. + Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability. + Ensure full compliance with the safety program at the jobsite. + Adhere to internal project management and operational processes, as applicable to the project. + Act professionally and uphold core values at all times. + Maintain regular attendance and punctuality as essential functions of the role. + Assist in the bid process and procurement of new work. + Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key project stakeholders. Essential Skills + Project management + Construction management + Change order management + RFI (Request for Information) + Mechanical project oversight + Estimation and forecasting + Process Piping + HVAC systems + Piping + Billings + Scheduling + MS Project proficiency + Negotiation skills + 2+ years' experience as a project manager overseeing mechanical work Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience overseeing and supervising project engineers, project administrators and craft supervisors + Experience in industrial projects such as Power/Utilities, Warehouses, Manufacturing Facilities, Cold Storage, etc. + Experience overseeing MEP scope - HVAC, Process Piping, Plumbing, etc. + Mechanical engineering experience + Construction Management or Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering degree desired Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lynnwood, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
