Web Content Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Web Content Specialist to join our team in Mettawa, Illinois. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the digital presence of multiple brand websites. This position combines technical expertise with a keen eye for quality assurance and a curiosity for leveraging emerging technologies. Responsibilities: u2022 Publish and update web content across multiple brand websites using enterprise-level platforms such as Adobe or Optimizely. u2022 Build and configure landing pages, product detail pages, campaign assets, and navigational elements in alignment with established brand and UX standards. u2022 Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards. u2022 Manage digital assets, including image optimization, metadata tagging, and file organization within the designated systems. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill content requests and support marketing and e-commerce initiatives. u2022 Monitor and analyze site performance and user engagement to identify opportunities for improvement. u2022 Utilize AI tools and automation technologies to streamline routine tasks and enhance content quality. u2022 Stay updated on compliance requirements and ensure all web content aligns with organizational policies. u2022 Participate in ongoing training led by the Web Team Lead to continuously refine technical skills. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content publishing and site functionality. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with enterprise-level content management systems such as Adobe or Optimizely. u2022 Familiarity with quality assurance processes and web content compliance standards. u2022 Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices. u2022 Ability to optimize digital assets, including images and metadata, for web use. u2022 Strong analytical skills to evaluate site performance and identify areas for improvement. u2022 Experience with AI tools for content drafting, quality assurance, or automation is a plus. u2022 Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. u2022 A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
