Project Engineer

Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Engineer with a strong inclination towards client interaction and project management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent social skills and a solid foundation in engineering or construction management. Responsibilities + Serve as the interface between clients and the project team. + Utilize Excel and general computer knowledge for project planning and execution. + Engage with GC, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure project alignment and success. + Organize and prioritize tasks based on customer needs. + Communicate effectively, articulating thoughts clearly to various stakeholders. + Willingness to step into a Project Management role and learn unique processes. + Directly handle projects in the conveyors group, focusing on building large steel structures detached from buildings. Essential Skills + Construction and project engineering experience. + Familiarity with Bluebeam software. + 0-3 years of relevant experience. + Engineering degree in any discipline (excluding IT) or construction management degree. + Project coordination experience is a plus. + GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong organizational skills to manage to-do lists effectively. + Extroverted personality with excellent communication skills. + Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. + Critical thinking ability to solve project-related challenges. + Teachability and a willingness to adapt to new processes and roles. Work Environment The role is based in the office, with travel required to job sites out of state, averaging slightly more than one trip per month, each lasting 1-2 nights. The company offers a laid-back and less formal culture, where jeans and tennis shoes are the norm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
