Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Pharmacists in Newton, MA. This is an on-site, overnight opportunity at a leading hospital setting. Pay: $60 to $65/hour Type: 3-Month Contract (Starting 4/26) Schedule: Overnight Wednesday to Tuesday u2013 7 on / 7 off Position Summary The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and effective use of medications across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations. This role includes order verification, clinical review, compounding, dispensing, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Primary Responsibilities u00b7 Interpret and evaluate medication orders prior to verification and entry u00b7 Assess medication therapy for dose, route, frequency, and appropriateness u00b7 Monitor for drug interactions, adverse reactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplications u00b7 Identify, resolve, and document medication-related issues and errors u00b7 Verify accuracy of medication orders and products dispensed u00b7 Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds u00b7 Provide drug information and counseling to providers, nurses, and patients u00b7 Oversee pharmacy technician workflow and activities u00b7 Assist with narcotic control and maintain accurate records u00b7 Compound medications and prepare IV admixtures as needed u00b7 Ensure compliance with USP 795 and USP 797 standards Qualifications u00b7 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution u00b7 Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist license required u00b7 1u20134 years of clinical pharmacy experience in an acute care hospital preferred u00b7 ASHP-accredited residency preferred u00b7 Board Certification (e.g., BCPS) preferred u00b7 Strong knowledge of medication management for adult and geriatric populations Why Work for Adecco? u00b7 Weekly pay u00b7 401(k) plan u00b7 Medical, dental, and vision benefits u00b7 Career growth and training opportunities Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
