Description We are adding experienced Building Automation technicians to support multiu2011site data center projects in the greater Charlotte area. You will perform handsu2011on installation, pointu2011tou2011point checkout (including 5u2011point analog tests), and field functional testing to validate sequences of operations and equipment performance. Daily work includes plugging into control panels with a laptop, navigating BAS graphics, documenting results, and assisting thirdu2011party commissioning agents during witnessed tests. Youu2019ll coordinate with electrical and mechanical contractors, follow drawings and sequences, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to keep milestones on track. Candidates should bring 3u20135+ years of BAS/HVAC controls experience, the ability to read MEP drawings and control schematics, strong documentation habits, and a safetyu2011first mindset (OSHAu201110/30 preferred). This role is fully onsite across four Charlotteu2011area sites (generally 30u201345 minutes from Uptown), with a physically active, constructionu2011site environment. The schedule is frequently 6u00d710s with sustained overtime during peak phases, and the overall program spans multiple years with phased starts. These openings exist due to rapid regional growth and the need to augment internal project teams to meet delivery timelines on highu2011impact data center projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
