Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - WEEKLY PAY - $22 to $35 an hour Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of production and processing equipment. Your role will include the fabrication of machine guards, installation and repair of conveyors, replacement of motors, and the teardown and replacement of hydraulic pumps. Additionally, you will troubleshoot machine malfunctions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities + Install, maintain, and repair production and processing equipment. + Fabricate machine guards. + Install and repair conveyors. + Replace motors and hydraulic pumps. + Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions. Essential Skills + Proficiency in troubleshooting. + Experience in hydraulics, mechanical, and pneumatics systems. + Knowledge of PLCs and electrical systems. + Preventive maintenance skills. + PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 2 years of maintenance technician experience or a college degree in mechanics. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a non-air-conditioned environment, which requires adaptability to weather conditions. The dress code includes t-shirts and pants, with steel or composite toe boots or shoes being essential. The role offers two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, and 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $35.25/hr.
