Certified Dental Assistant

Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a Certified Dental Assistant in Newark, NJ. Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, (35 hour work week, 1 hour lunch break) Hourly pay range: $25.00/hr. (25.00/hr./hr.) Certification/licenses: CDA and X-ray license Essential Duties and Responsibilities: u00b7 Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers. u00b7 Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment. u00b7 Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients. u00b7 Operates suction equipment. u00b7 Mixes endodontic and restorative materials. u00b7 Maintains all dental instruments and equipment. u00b7 Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations. u00b7 Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images. u00b7 Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization. Restocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials. u00b7 Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies. u00b7 Understands and adheres to client's compliance standards as they appear in client's corporate compliance policy, code of conduct and conflict of interest policy. Education AND/OR Experience required: Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant Program Certification as a Dental Assistant in the state of NJ Valid dental radiologic technology license issued by NJ Department of Environmental Protection CPR certified Why work for Adecco?
