Job Description Insight Global is hiring for an AMHS Equipment Maintenance Technician. This role is in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment. The position is responsible for correctly maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yield and productivity goals. Primary Responsibilities: u00b7 Troubleshoot and repair all equipment failures across a diverse family of AMHS systems. u00b7 Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents. u00b7 Use fault detection software and charts to evaluate tool performance and assist with troubleshooting. u00b7 Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. u00b7 Assist engineering team with equipment upgrades, improvements and long down troubleshooting. u00b7 Maintain spare parts inventory and various other activities related to the success of the area & equipment. u00b7 Daily, continued use of analytical problem solving and system testing skills to attain desired system performance goals. u00b7 Demonstrate a self-motivated mindset; and be able to take initiative to address outstanding as well as impromptu issues within the assigned toolset. u00b7 Exhibit the ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities on a continued basis. u00b7 Interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility, either on shift or cross shift to maintain production flows. u00b7 Employ strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills. u00b7 Continually adapt and nurture a desire to learn new skills whenever the opportunity presents itself. u00b7 Thrive in a multi-cultural environment. Education requirements can be satisfied by equivalent experience. u00b7 Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience. u00b7 A minimum of 7 years of experience may qualify in lieu of degree. u00b7 Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment. u00b7 Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams. u00b7 Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds. u00b7 Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask with minimal supervision.
