Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half is working with a local company looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and collaborating closely with senior leadership to support organizational goals. Responsibilities Include: u2022 Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff, fostering growth and team collaboration. u2022 Ensure compliance with organizational policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Support budgeting processes and contribute to audit preparations and financial reporting. u2022 Handle accruals and fixed asset management to ensure precise tracking and reporting. u2022 Review accounts payable (AP) processes to ensure timely and accurate payments. u2022 Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations for financial strategies. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and streamline reporting processes. Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. u2022 Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management. u2022 Proficiency in account reconciliations, journal entries, and accrual accounting. u2022 Experience with fixed assets and accounts payable processes. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
