Operator u2013 Dry Reports To: Production Supervisor Department: Operations Location: Huguenot, NY Adecco is partnering with a client in Huguenot, NY and is currently hiring an Operator. Position Summary/Description Operators are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining spray driers, mills, and screeners. Performs in-process testing on intermediate products and finished goods. Accountable to follow all SOPs and GMPs. Grade (K) + Monitor and maintain mills and screeners + Obtains & hangs crystal over feed acrison to supply mill or screener + Obtains a proper inventory of empty pallets, drums and sacks to supply their machine + Perform accuracy checks of container weights + Makes changes to the machine to maintain quality specifications as outlined in the production lab book + Tests all necessary samples from their machine according to specifications listed in the production lab result books + Fill intermediate/finished goods containers as described in standard operating procedures + Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, transport products, and assist in material handling activities + Inspect equipment to include, but not limited to forklifts, pumps, lines/hoses, fittings, ladders, etc. + Accurately record all pertinent processing data + Fulfill written work orders as assigned + Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards + Adhere to all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) + All other tasks assigned by supervision and/or management. Position Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms). Job Competencies IT Skills: Microsoft Suite experience is preferred but not required Language Skills: Ability to speak, write, and read English.
