We are seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to join our Research & Development team at a dynamic food and beverage company. This role involves working in a general scientific lab focused on optimizing and performing experiments related to beverage products, including coffee and creamers. The ideal candidate will be methodical, comfortable working closely with scientists, and bring energetic comfortability to the team. Responsibilities + Receive, process, and track analytical sample requests. + Perform routine in-house chemical and physical testing. + Prepare and conduct bench and mid-scale trials. + Monitor and maintain basic analytical equipment. + Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean environment. + Accurately document analytical analysis. + Comply with company policies and procedures. Essential Skills + Strong background in chemistry and science. + Knowledge and experience with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice). + Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. + Ability to accurately perform analytical procedures and administrative tasks. + Excellent planning and organizational skills. + Good communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate degree in a Science-related field with one year of related experience or High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of related experience. Work Environment You will work in a science and technology lab with hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The lab environment is clean and safe, requiring adherence to company safety policies and procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
