Civil Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. Day to day responsibilities consist of designing plans for large utility companies. Lead and support civil design for renewable energy projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and stormwater management. Manage municipal site plan and zoning approval processes for renewable energy developments. Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and coordinate regulatory submittals with county and state agencies. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software such as HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS. Design stormwater infrastructure and Best Management Practices (BMPs) for both construction and post-construction phases. Oversee planning, design, and permitting for green infrastructure and low-impact development initiatives. Apply civil and environmental engineering principles related to grading, utilities, traffic access, and wetland impacts. Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. Salary around 110k-120k.
