Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager 2 to support retail food operations at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance in Leominster, Massachusetts . In this role, youu2019ll oversee hospital retail dining operations while playing a key role in Sodexou2019s u201cGrowing Placesu201d partnership , an innovative program that connects hospitals with local, minorityu2011owned, and small business food vendors . As Retail Manager 2, you will serve as a liaison between the hospital and external Growing Places partners , helping onboard and support new vendors while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. What You'll Do + Lead and oversee daily retail food service operations, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, safety, and cleanliness + Manage, train, and develop frontline team members using a peopleu2011first, teamu2011focused leadership approach + Serve as the primary liaison for the Growing Places partnership , working directly with potential and current external vendors to support onboarding, communication, and operational alignment between vendors and the hospital + Collaborate with hospital stakeholders and Growing Places partners to deliver a cohesive and positive dining experience + Drive customer satisfaction through visible leadership, consistent service standards, and proactive problem solving + Monitor financial performance including sales, labor, food costs, and inventory + Ensure compliance with all Sodexo, client, food safety, and regulatory standards What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
