R&D Equipment Engineer

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing and R&D support, is seeking a dedicated R&D Equipment Engineer to join their team. As an R&D Equipment Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Research & Development department, supporting innovative projects and collaborating closely with R&D teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: R&D Equipment Engineer Location: Corvallis, OR Pay Range: $30 What's the Job? + Work directly with R&D customers to support development related to PWP Digital Web Presses. + Operate and maintain multiple large industrial web presses, providing hands-on electrical and mechanical support. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve press and tooling issues, including hardware and software upgrades. + Collaborate with R&D engineers to test, repair, and modify equipment, ensuring optimal performance. + Perform repair, maintenance, and equipment modifications following technical manuals and blueprints. What's Needed? + AA/AS Degree in Business, Technical field, or equivalent experience. + Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience. + Proficiency in MS Office applications including Access, Word, and Excel. + Ability to read electrical schematics and perform hardware/software diagnostics. + Experience supporting firmware updates, managing revisions, and performing equipment repairs.
