Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoice processing, payment preparation, and ensuring accurate financial records. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company standards. u2022 Conduct routine check runs to ensure timely and correct payments to vendors. u2022 Verify and reconcile financial data to maintain accurate payment records. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address payment-related inquiries. u2022 Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while handling vendor payments. u2022 Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities. u2022 Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed. u2022 Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes for enhanced efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. u2022 Strong skills in coding invoices and managing check runs. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Proficiency in basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
